Frequently asked questions

What customers ask us most about our leather tallit and tefillin bags, personalization, shipping and payment.

Is it genuine leather?

Yes. Every bag is made of 100% genuine Argentinian leather, cut and sewn in our workshop in Buenos Aires. We do not use faux leather, PU or leatherette.

Can I add a name in Hebrew?

Yes. Names and short inscriptions can be embroidered or embossed in Hebrew or English, in several typefaces and thread colors. The customizer shows a preview of the bag with your inscription before you order.

Which size do I need?

A standard tallit fits the medium bag (14.5″ × 12.2″); a Chabad tallit needs the Chabad large (16.5″ × 14.5″); Chassidim tallitot need the XL (16″ × 16″). Tefillin bags come in medium (9″ × 8″) and large (10″ × 10″). See all sizes on the Sizes page.

What is a bar mitzvah set?

A tallit bag with two matching tefillin bags (Rashi and Rabbeinu Tam), embroidered with the boy's name. It is available in Chabad and Chassidim sizes.

How long does it take?

Each piece is made to order after payment. Production time depends on the model and the personalization; you can follow every stage of your order on the tracking page with your order number.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship to the United States, Israel, Europe, Latin America and anywhere DHL delivers. Shipping is free on orders over $200. In Argentina you can also pick up at the workshop.

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card through Stripe, in US dollars. Customers in Argentina can also pay by bank transfer in pesos or dollars, or in cash or card when picking up.

Can I buy for my store or community?
